The 2016 M&R Wynford Tower Holiday Party was held in the lobby from 6 to 8 PM Thursday,
6 December 2016. The party featured a buffet style turkey dinner with all the trimmings,
with chairs throughout the lobby on which to sit and enjoy the food. For entertainment, DJ / singer par excellence Ronnie Dalson provided music for listening and dancing. In previous years he was joined in a few tunes by Rafael and Francisco, as the Wynford Wannabe Warblers. It is not known at this writing whether this special entertainment feature was repeated this year. When the DJ departed for another gig at 8 PM, resident Henry Furman took to the ivories to lead a sing-along including golden oldies, Christmas carols and requests, with books of lyrics to refresh lagging memories.
