The first sing along of 2017 was held in the Card Room on Valentine's Eve, 13 February.
The sing along, with light refreshments and Valentine décor, was attended by about
twenty-two residents, nicely filling the card room capacity.
Many thanks to Henry Furman, our sing along pianist par excellence, and to his
henchfolks:
- RuthAnn Doyle, who decorated the room with flowers (for the ladies to take with them),
made chocolate goodies for all to take home, helped schlepp Henry's equipment from and to
his apartment, helped to prepare the refreshments with Elizabeth and generally made the
event a success.
- Elizabeth Cameron and son Chris, who prepared the snacks and desserts par excellence,
- Eric Thom, who was the designated photographer for the evening,
- and to the many others who helped in so many ways.
