The Wynford Tower Residents Association represents the residents of Wynford Tower and is dedicated to enhancing the lifestyle of
the residents, both in building care and in social activities, in collaboration with the Superintendents and the Management representatives. It is not a Tenant Association and does not engage in confrontations with the landlord. All Wynford Tower residents are automatically members of the Residents Association, for which there is no fee and no registration requirement. A committee of resident volunteers organizes social activities, and acts as communicator between residents and management for issues of common concern. The committee meets only when an issue irises that requires discussion. All residents are welcome to attend the meetings, which will be annouced in the weekly newsletter, and to volunteer as committee members. To be included on the newsletter list contact Bill Lynn at wblynn@wblynn.ca Most resident activities take place in the Social Room at the west end of the B level (laundry) hallway. This room, called the Party Room on the B Level floor plan posted in the B level elevator lobby, was used for storage until M&R renovated it for use as a social room in 2017/2018, in response to requests from the Residents Committee. The room was opened for use in June 2018. The Social Room is open to all residents whenevever the concierge is available to unlock it. The Association mandate does not cover individual tenant issues, which should be addressed by submitting a work order at the office, or a maintenance request on the M&R management website, at MandRHoldings.com/tenant-services. An exception would be urgent matters that uniquely and negatively impact physically challenged residents. |
